# Swolvy
> Swolvy turns an HTML file into a shareable link. Drop a file on swolvy.com, or let an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) publish it for you, and get a link with optional password protection.
Swolvy is made by asamy.net (https://asamy.net/).
## Key facts
- Swolvy hosts a single HTML file and gives it a link anyone can open in a browser.
- No signup is needed. Free pages take files up to 2 MB and stay online for 30 days after the last upload; uploading a new version restarts the 30 days.
- Any page can have a password. Passwords are stored only as a hash.
- A page can be replaced without changing its link, using the edit token from the upload or a free account's dashboard.
- A free account adds a dashboard, view counts, API keys and linking AI assistants to the account.
- Swolvy Pro costs $3 a month or $18 a year: pages never expire, files up to 100 MB (2 GB in total), your own domain, and a custom title, description and image for link previews.
- AI assistants publish through an MCP server at https://swolvy.com/api/mcp (OAuth sign-in, no API key). It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and other MCP clients.
- Scripts and coding agents publish through an HTTP API: POST https://swolvy.com/api/v1/upload.
- Pages on swolvy.com open inside a sandboxed frame; pages on a customer's own domain are served directly. User pages are not listed in search engines.
- Swolvy does not host multi-file sites, ZIP archives or server-side code.
- Swolvy Teams costs $15 a month or $90 a year for the whole team, not per person: up to 100 people publish to one custom domain with 1 TB of shared storage, and each person connects their own AI.

### Teams
If your account belongs to a Swolvy Team, uploads made with your API key go to your active workspace: the team, or your personal workspace. To choose for one request, send a workspace field (JSON or form) or an X-Swolvy-Workspace header with "personal", "team" (your active team, or your only one) or a team's id. It works on POST /api/v1/upload and on /api/v1/upload/session.
Upload responses then include a workspace object with kind (personal or team), id, name and your role. GET /api/v1/me returns your account, your active workspace and your teams.
Your AI uses the same workspaces through the MCP connector: list_my_teams, get_my_workspace and set_my_workspace, and a workspace parameter on upload_to_swolvy and start_swolvy_upload.
